First time competing

Hi folks,

A friend sent me a link to this competition and thought I should give it a try. It's my first time modelling a car but I LOVE the Mini Cooper (actually own one). I always wanted to model one but never found the time. This time I had a bit of free time at work so here goes nothing!

I never realized how much my 2005 mini differed from the new 2008 model until I've tried to actuall model it in 3D. It really makes you go over it with a fine toothed comb.

I'm having fun though!

Is this your final render? You can add textures if you want. It will help stick the car out of the other cars.

NO!!! God no! It's not finished at all. I just made a rendering from an angle that you can't see the ovious unfinished parts.
I'm still missing the front grill, the whole back end, the spoiler, the antena.

I still have a few days left. Hopefully I'll have some spare time to go along with that.

I still have to do the Gas cap and the wipers and the Mini logo.
