Default How to model organic things (heads/hands/characters/...)

We've got a few organic modelers here and I would like to learn from them.

How do you go about creating organic shapes? Just "general" info. Because I want this to be informative with examples such as screenshots on how the edges flow and such not a how to tutorial "press button A, ....".

That's not modeling, that's "sculpting".

3dm3.com have a nice tutorial about that, i'll try to post the link.
3dtotal.com have the "Eva Learning Series" about modelling, clothing, texturing and rendering a female model with 3ds max.

From both resources you can have a nice idea on what you are lookin' for :D

thx king, that tutorial used to be on a different site. From the guy that made it himself.

I remember the site now:

Any more information/Screenshots about how the edgeloops should go?
